
Ron Sept, PhD
Ron Sept is an experienced senior consultant with more than 40 years of professional engagement in Organizational Development and Transformation. Ron holds advanced degrees in Organizational Communication with a concentration on large-scale organization change processes and strategies for managing complex change initiatives. Ron has actively maintained a lifetime of professional learning and development to remain current on the best tools and strategies available to support public and private institutions in their efforts to transform toward greater adaptability and effectiveness.
Dr. Sept has held academic and administrative roles in several Canadian Post-Secondary institutions and has made significant contributions to research and in helping train a generation of upcoming scholars and professionals in these fields.
Ron has worked extensively in the Canadian Healthcare system, helping to guide healthcare leaders and professionals towards stronger institutional management and effective leadership of change. He has worked at the senior leadership level to help strengthen the leadership capabilities of executive and senior leaders, as well as with health professionals and front-line staff to support on-the-ground clinical and organizational transformation efforts. Ron has also worked with several of Canada’s top post-secondary institutions and support their capacity for strategic change.
Ron is currently retired from active consulting practice, although he continues to contribute through voluntary work with organizations and institutions to build the capacity to guide their organizations through the storm of planned and unplanned change.
