As a professional consultant, I have always sought out tools and resources that clients can use to reduce the anxiety and human impact of change processes in their organizations. This has led to some useful discoveries for my own practice, and to a number of hands-on tools that leaders can use to build comprehensive change initiative plans and to effectively implement those plans in their own organizations. The time has come for me to share these resources with a broader professional audience and to contribute what my background and experience in this field have to offer to organizational leaders as they come face to face with the challenges of leading change.
The materials in this book have been selected based on their proven utility as a framework for leadership development, and as a framework for Change Leadership Planning and Implementation for change-related projects in a wide range of business, public service, or government organizations. In most cases, these materials can be considered Change Leadership Best Practices that have stood the test of time in real-time change leadership consulting contexts.
